Alexander John Interiors started as a vision in 2006 by me, Alex Radford, a fully trained carpenter, on the principle that quality and attention to detail are central to every project. This ethos is still ingrained in everything that I do. By choosing Alexander John the client can be assured that I will be the driving force of the project.
If you are looking for a professional to recreate your outdated interior and turn it into one that you enjoy spending time in, whether it is a kitchen, bathroom or complete renovation, when you choose to work with me I listen to your design requests, and am fully committed to making your dreams come true. My goal is to enhance your home by optimising your space and bringing its full potential to life.
Times are constantly changing, and it’s hard to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and designs which is where I can offer help, when decision making is just too difficult. In 2006, I brought my passion for craftsmanship, creativity and design to life, and since then I’ve been transforming homes in a way that aligns with my clients’ taste and vision. “We live in a 200 year old cottage that required a sympathetic approach to building works. Alex installed a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, refurbished a very tired staircase, built cupboards under the stairs, laid wood flooring to the kitchen and dining area, created built in wardrobes and cupboards and even re-laid our driveway. They understood the need to work in sympathy with the type and age of building and we are very pleased with the workmanship and would definitely recommend Alexander John Interiors.”

“Alex and his team helped with the design and made many suggestions regarding the new open space as we wanted a modern feel to the room. It was a major renovation project which included removing two walls and ceilings and the whole area being opened up. A new kitchen was fitted along with bespoke areas for the cooker and fridge/freezer and wine fridge/TV and under stairs cupboard. Underfloor heating was fitted throughout this area and included all tiling, lighting and decorating. Delighted with the end result and would recommend them for their workmanship and attention to detail.”
